Brief: Use the knowledge gained in the course to develop and realise a final Major Project (FMP) Proposal through self-directed learning supported by individual tutorials, peer learning, group critiques and presentations.
Role: This was a self-directed project, my role was to research a topic (find an expert in that field to collaborate with) and design a proposal.
Task: Investigate period pain and come up with a proposed idea that can help women access help when needed and keep track of their mood.
Solution: Her health, a prototype that helps women connect with local experts on women's health.

Skills used: User Research, General Research, Competitor Analysis, Wireframing, Agile design, Journey mapping and Commercial Awareness
The initial research helped me to understand that although period pain is something that is common among women, there is little to no information on how to deal with it. Many women feel isolated because they feel like this is a shameful topic that shouldn't be discussed
By directing a workshop and survey, I wanted to map out the customer service through the NHS and see where my app could be of help. The falling point is when the individual has to book another appointment because the pill is making the situation worst
The video below shows the updated version of my prototype, due to feedback I got regarding Her Health, I choose to highlight how the user would interact with the health advisor and make it easy to get in contact with one. It also has a community where women can post their thoughts related to their menstrual health and support each other
